On the Home screen for Sing Your Part, click on Songs to bring up a list of hymnals and categories of songs. Click on This Week to see a list of the hymns your church will be singing in the upcoming service if your church is utilizing this feature.
Clicking on Songs on the Home screen will bring you to a page where you can select a hymnal or type of hymn. Make your selection to bring up a list of hymns in that category. You can also search for a particular hymn directly in the search pane.
From the list of songs, select the hymn you would like to learn and practice, or type the name of a hymn in the search pane.
Adjust the volume of each voice.
If you are learning a part for the first time, turn all the other voices down and your voice up. Then press Play. Once you have mastered your part, turn up the other voices and turn down your part to practice singing your part when it is harder to hear it.
Make learning even easier by slowing down the tempo. Gradually increase the tempo until you are up to speed.
A sheet music icon will appear for hymns that have the music and lyrics available. Click on the icon to bring up the music. Note that an internet connection is necessary for this feature to work.
Click on the information icon to see to see author and copyright information.
Once you have set your church, clicking on This Week in the Home screen will bring up a list of this week's hymns for your congregation.
Choose a single song to work on, or listen to the entire list by clicking on the play button in the upper right corner. Doing so will bring up the settings for the first and all subsequent songs. Adjust the individual volumes and tempo and press the play button to listen to all songs in the list for This Week with those settings.
